Hi everyone,

since Im back in witzenhausen now i think i should give you a short- very short- update. When we were there we had a beautiful winterwonderland and snowfall almost every day, in between we had heaps of rain. Altogether not the best conditions plus the fact that i had two different kinds of influenza did not increase the chance to get anything fixed. i wasnt up the mast once because im not suicidal-and my boyfriend wouldnt let me go. but we checked the cables and contacts with the multimeter. not surprisingly we had no power coming in from the windturbine-exept for one moment when we had 0.1 ampere but suddenly that was gone, too. so we tried again and again and nothing happened, but we both saw it that moment and that made us a bit confused.
ill retry when im down there at the end of february but it most probably will be up to you guys to get it fixed.
that much for now. i dont know exactly when ill be down there because of work etc. but ill let you know asap so maybe we can get together there at some stage.

regards, Oda

p.s.: i promise you wont get eaten by my dog!

Thanks for your feedback Oda.

[Oda]

i wasn´t up the mast once because i´m not suicidal-and my boyfriend
wouldn´t let me go.

I was somewhat sceptical you would have been able to get up there with
such bad weather. Did you have access to a harness? This is important
information for the next trip.

Did you leave the two new bridge rectifiers at the farm?

I'll leave my other questions till later.

Regards
Roy

I would remind you that Damien owns (and knows how to use) climbing gear.

From what I remember of our excursion there in last july, the wind turbine was indeed not producing much current, but it was summer time and there was not so much wind.

The big question is : during this bad winter, is there some wind at Häusleberg ?

Hi there,

I missed the first trip to the Häusleberg Hütte (again sorry...) but I won´t
miss the next expedition there! So you can already count on me and on my
climbing equipment.

I would tend to say we could start thinking of what should be done in order
to go there in april/mai latest, is it what you guys (and Oda) also think or
is it too late / too early?

Bis sehr bald!

Damien
