Hello Haeuslebergers,

I'm busy planning a few things but thought it best if I first send out
my suggested dates and see how this fits with the rest of you. At the
moment I would very much like to take my family with to the farm. I
know Tyler Geopfert and Felix Choo are available until the end of June
2010, sooo the suggested dates are as follows:

Work weekend: Friday 18 - Sunday 20 June 2010

I'm planning to ask Uta whether I can stay on with my family until
Friday 25 June 2010.

How does this fit in with the rest of you?

Regards
Roy

June fits well for me.
I could and would probably also ask Uta to stay there for a longer time than only the week-end, since I am unemployed and have free time.

I only come if Craig comes. ;-p
j/k... I definitely want to come, so it's mostly a matter of figuring
out how best to get there (minimum money and time lost).

I am still interested in visiting Oldenburg and might offer to share the ride back from Häusleberg to Oldenburg through Kassel.

However, it is still very difficult for me make this commitment as I have a bad visibility of what I will be doing in one and a half month (the hazards of looking for a job ...).
I'll discuss it with you again in a few weeks.

Okay, at least we should have some people on board. Damien and Jean
Baptiste, where are you guys? Please remember to reply to
haeuslebe...@googlegroups.com and not just to me.

Now I must check with Uta if these dates are okay with her.

Concerning transport... Manfred may be an opportunity depending on his
movements. Thanks Manfred. Also, if you remember, Oda offered us the
pink twingo from Witzenhausen to Oberried and back. Oda I take it this
still stands? Depending on how much stuff we have to take, it may be
sufficient for 2 or 4 people. I want to take my family with and Craig
wants to bring his girlfriend with too. The hangers on will have to
find their own way down. It might be wise to start looking at DB now
to get those cheap seats...

Now back to planning who does what...

Please take a look at the page I created in Feb and give me any
feedback on the list of tasks ASAP:

http://tinyurl.com/27tuacm

Remember you can edit stuff yourself. Put whatever you think is
relevant up there. Previous versions are retrievable using the drop
down box at the bottom right hand corner of the page. It may be a good
idea to choose your own font colour or put your name in parentheses
(Roy) next to your edit to make it clearer what you have changed. I
propose we assign tasks to various people like last time.

For purchasing stuff, I think I can use the IWES account to get better
prices. Thanks to Manfred we have a good inventory of what is already
down there in the way of cabling, switches etc. See "Tools and
supplies available there (left overs)" right at the bottom of the
page:

http://tinyurl.com/26ms7a5

Concerning tools available there. Oda would it be possible to:

1. Get an inventory of available tools down there before we go?
2. Use your boyfriend's father's tools?

Also Oda, I want to make a hoisting system to more easliy
remove/install the wind turbines and I need somebody to get up there
and take some measurements for me. Are there any brave souls
willing/able to do that soon (with a climbing harness of course)?

Thanks
Roy

Hi everyone,

good to see that you´re still keen on coming. Unfortunately I won´t have a chance to get home till summer, but you can still have the car. When I was home in March we actually made it to clea up the whole workshop! I have to send you a photo so you can imagine how it looks like! It took us only three full days but now you can find everything and you have a workbench, too!!!! I´ll get Uta to make an inventory of the tools. Maybe we have a wwoofer from southafrica soon, he might be able to do it in english so it will be easier for all of you. With the measurements.....I´m not to shure about that but will ask Uta about it, maybe there is someone....About the transportation costs, I talked to Uta about it and of course she will pay for it (the chaepest way, not 1st class-tickets;-)) or the petrol for the car.
No more time for now, have to go back to lecture, have no internet at home at the moment because we moved (stupid telekom)

Hi everybody.

I am supposed to undertake some minor surgery in Lille on the 22nd of June.
I asked that it be advanced one week earlier so I could be there. They will answer next week if it's possible.

If for any reason the dates given by Roy (Friday 18 - Sunday 20 June 2010) do not match for you, please say it now !

Hi Manfred,

Just for your info, I sent an email to Tyler this morning concerning
dates. I know he is constrained to return to the States by 1 July. I
however, have a work deadline at the end of June which is starting to
exert pressure. Also, the schools close at the end of June making it
easier for my family to get down in July.

So basically I asked Tyler whether there is any way he would still be
able to attend if we shifted the dates into July. He hasn't responded
yet but I was thinking mid-July to give us a bit more time to prepare
for the trip.

Any thoughts from the rest of you on the list?

Oda when will you be back in Häusleberg? I would really like to be
there when you are there. That may also increase our chances of using
your boyfriend's father's tools?

Regards
Roy

Late June is definitely busy for me.
I have received an invitation to the event Careers in Europe ( http://www.cieportal.be/ ) in Brussels.
They are paying the hotel expenses for me if I come, so I would.

Better count me out from 24th till 27th. I need to get job.
