Sorry to bother again, but I just realized that no download is performed by Hadouken. The installation took place normally, download tasks are added correctly, but the download does not come out of 0%.

Am i missing some configuration?

Any ideas?

Hi,

Are you trying to save the torrents somewhere you don't have write rights?

OK, so this is the same issue I am having.

I was able to run the client perfectly well in 4.6, but couldn't use it on private trackers, for lack of Peer ID.  I install 4.7, and now can not write to the drive.

But I don't think it's a drive write issue, as the trackers do not show me as client.

I just did a fresh install today with the latest version and mine are stuck at 0%, I've eliminated the possibility of folder/file permissions, the server is running as local admin.

OS - Server 2012R2 Std.
Windows firewall off
Port opened in Firewall for torrents

It's like its not even trying to make any connections at all.

I found setting an upload limit in the advanced setting stopped my torrents working.

"bt.net.upload_rate_limit" to be precise.

Changed it back to 0 and set a limit on the torrent I was downloading and it worked fine.

I have only just installed, and I am also experiencing this problem. My  'bt.net.upload_rate_limit' was by default set to 0.  Changing it and changing it back did nothing.  Canyouseeme reports that my configured port is open.  Service is running as LocalSystem

Are you downloading from private trackers? The latest version got its own peer ID and user agent and some private trackers have a fairly strict whitelist.

I'm downloading from a private tracker and it is stuck at 0%. I can't see if there's any way to check the tracker's response.

Looks like I can't download from my private trackers with Hadouken. Any other torrent client works just fine, but in Hadouken I'm stuck at 0% - is there any way to see the tracker response? Maybe I'm missing something, like the announcement time or some other setting.

Hi, in v4.7 there is currently no way to see the tracker status... However, the issue is (most probably) that the Hadouken peer ID is not recognized by the tracker. For v5 I've reset this to the libtorrent defaults (LT) which should provide greater compatibility.

How can we try the v5 beta, if it is ready enough for some real life usage?

Hi, the v5 beta is quite usable - I use it myself. You can find instructions on how to install it here, http://docs.hdkn.net/en/latest/installing/windows.html. Make sure to also read how to configure, http://docs.hdkn.net/en/latest/configuration.html.

I was having the same problem with 5.2; no connections were being made. As soon as I changed the upload speed limit to 0 everything instantly started working again.

The problem is that upload rate settings is in bytes per second, not in kilobytes. Should be fixed i think.
