Flink Forward 2015 is the first conference to bring together the Apache Flink developer and user community. Flink Forward will take place on October 12th and 13th in Berlin. Apache Flink is a programming environment and distributed runtime that makes it easy for developers to build batch and streaming data applications. Flink offers familiar fluent programming APIs and a set of libraries, and backs these APIs with a robust and hybrid execution engine that unifies stream and batch processing. Flink entered the Apache Incubator in April 2014, and graduated in December 2014.
