Does anyone know or know how I can find out exactly what the fuction of 511
is on Telus systems in Calgary? (I mean other than scanning which is
already being done and is also painfully slow)

Kentucky, 511 is the number for the Kentucky Department of
Transportation's highway traffic and weather info line. Some phone
systems in the USA also use 511 as a non-emergency version of 911.

Obviously not. They use 611 for that. 511 lets you enter another 10 digits
then gives you busies.
