(Re)learning machining skills

Hi All,

Metalworking and machining has been a skill that I've wanted to pick up for a long time, so I'd like to know if there's room for me in the group to come and learn the basics of how to run a lathe and milling machine. Is there a member who is savvy in these skills and would be willing to spend some time getting up to speed on these machines?

If so, is there a preferred date/time that I should come by and introduce myself?
