Hello Hacks/Hackers,

We have exciting news to share! Ever wondered how data can be used to advocate for gender justice? Well you're in for a treat because on 23 April from 2pm -3PM EAT, WanaData Kenya will be hosting a session with Odipo Dev's Head of Media Felix Kiprono on Utilising data for gender justice.

Kiprono has agreed to join us for a 1hour session to discuss the ground breaking work Odipo Dev is doing in Kenya, to create a living database tracking and recording femicide cases from 2016 to date. He will also delve deep into how this living database humanises the tragic toll of femicide in Kenya, and what you can do as a media professional to strengthen the cause.
