Hello Hacks/Hackers,
It's time for our monthly up-skilling event. On 30 May, 3pm - 4pm WAT Hacks/Hackers will host an educational talk on Machine Learning, and training AI systems to use data for good. This one hour talk will be led by Computer Science Scholar, Tech Innovator, Researcher and Author
Bonaventure Dossou.
The Talk will centre around a case-study of developing high-performing speech recognition systems using limited resources, and how this can be seen as an example of using data for good.
With a strong tech innovation background, Bonaventure will discuss his journey with ML and exploring U-WER to track model adaptation.
If you're a researcher, technologist or have interest in Machine Learning and language processing join us to find out how you can use data for good.
