Data Journalism Webinar Series

Sign-up now for a series of hands-on data journalism training sessions with a team of data experts and join a cohort of over 100 journalists from media houses and civic watchdog organisations across Africa to learn how to tell compelling stories using data.

The training will be delivered by experts who already train and have supported the production of award-winning African-based data-driven stories for example MapMakoko, Pandemic Poachers, Sucked Dry, among others.

You’ll receive the opportunity to attend seven bi-weekly webinars over the next four months, starting on 18th August and running to 10th November, 2021. Each webinar will teach you hands-on skills for finding, as well as tips for adopting data-driven digital journalism tools and techniques to improve evidence-driven analysis and multimedia reporting.
