We are sure you have wondered what exactly government chronicles are and how to visualise them. Well, government chronicles are simply documents containing data that are released by the government periodically. This includes government gazettes which are released on a weekly, monthly, or annual basis.
Not many people are interested in perusing the pages of gazettes to get vital information like changes in the law, redeployment of civil servants, and new decrees (we guessing you aren't either). During this month's Hacks/Hackers, we want to explore how we can visualise some of the data contained in gazettes and provide citizens with an easily understandable, impartial information source about Nigeria and the government’s priorities.
This is why we are inviting you to be a part of this month's Hacks/Hackers meet-ups happening in Lagos and Abuja.
