Hi everyone. The Hackney Food Growers Fair on the 15th has been
cancelled but there is the Dalston Harvest Festival this Sunday at the
Curve Garden. I'm out of town Saturday night but hope to make it back
in time for some of this...

Dalston Harvest Festival

On Sunday we will be celebrating and enjoying the tasty fruit, herbs,
and vegetables that have been grown at the Eastern Curve this summer,
with our 2011 'Dalston Harvest Festival'.

You can join in workshops making pesto and chutney, enjoy fresh home-
made soup and buy the last of this year's Chocolate Peppermint plants
grown in the Garden. The clay oven will be lit throughout the
afternoon, so if you haven't yet had a chance to cook something here
and would like to give it a go, just bring along some food to bake or
roast.

If you have been growing food at home, at work, or at school and would
like to display it at the Dalston Harvest Festival, or if you are
lucky enough to have a ‘glut’ of any fruit or vegetables, please bring
them along as part of the big cook-up!
