Hello All,

Niki, Jamie and I met for lunch to have a look at our diaries and do a spot of planning....and we've come up with this, for the time being...

Thursday 8th September- Evening Harvest of 1 Apple Tree- Niki will send details

Sunday 11th September- Meet at noon for forage of Wick Woodland, at Hackney Tree Nursery- Carina has sent details

Wednesday 14th September- Evening harvest of fruit trees to be found to be arranged by someone

Saturday 17th September- The Climbers are harvesting the pear street and have invited Hackney Harvest to join

Wednesday 21st September- Evening harvest of fruit trees to be found to be arranged by someone

Sunday 25th September- Daytime harvest of fruit trees to be found to be arranged by someone...

Sunday 2nd October- Daytime harvest of fruit trees to be found to be arranged by someone...

Other harvesting to be arranged....and some events that The London Orchard Project are organising

Sunday 9th October-  The London Orchard Project are going to be at Roots and Shoots

Saturday 14th October- The London Orchard Project are going to the Cecil Sharp House Apple Day (this one should be really wholesome!)

Sunday 16th October-  The London Orchard Project hosting an Apple Day at the Centre for Wildlife Gardening in Peckam

Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd October- The London Orchard Project are hosting an Apple Festival at Camley Street Nature Reserve. It would be great to showcase Hackney Harvest at this. And there'll be cider workshops, cider tasting, music, workshops and general merriment.
This will also double up as my leaving party....so come!

18th November- Feeding the 5000- organised by Niki and Tristram Stuart

Late November- Hackney Medlar Harvest

3rd or 4th December- Christmas Medlar Preserving Workshop, somewhere in Hackney

Phew.

So if anyone knows of any trees, or fancies looking for them, this would work well!...

Carina.

Excellent - great to finally have some dates - thanks for organising these - I feel you've had to do my job for me here due to mine and Jamie's calendars being out of sync for so long.
