Find demo data for email list

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone knows a smart way to find industry/title info (potentially from linkedin) for a large email list?

I'm using Mailchimp and have a large mailing list that has email addresses only. (Although I could potentially look at customer lists also which would include email, address, and name).

I'd like to be able to run this list through some sort of program to get:

• Customer's industry that he/she works in
• Job title
• Geography (in case my data is old)

Any suggestions?

I know the perfect product. It's called http://hulimail.com/

It takes a CSV of emails and then provides all the linkedin, twitter info associated with that email address in a searchable dashboard. You can also sort by Geography (I.E. show me IOS developers in NYC who have opted into my list). 

Perfect tool for recruiting ; )

MS Outlook Social Connector is one possibility to look up people based on email addresses. It would look up on LinkedIn. You can upload the list into your contacts in Outlook and it will find each one. However, I have not found a way to export that info; if you find out, please let us know!

 

Up until recently I was uploading lists of emails into LinkedIn using Contacts import; specifically, input in Outlook CSV  format that only required pasting emails into the appropriate column. Then you can find everyone in the Contacts along with their LinkedIn info. (The same technology as explained in the post Find Almost Anybody’s Email Address with #LinkedIn). It used to be able to import very large lists (thousands). Unfortunately, this has become buggy in the last few weeks. Import doesn’t seem to be working at all. I do hope they fix the bug(s).
