Ivo,
I have been approached by somebody who is Brussels insider, having worked there (see his mail below).
Anybody, who believes in such policies + would be interested to join a consortium, please let me know ASAP!
Thanks & Regards,
Peter
PS Ivo, I buy you Prosecco, regardless …
Dear Peter,
pls find attached a summary of the Future Internet call, where the European Commission will make € 130 M available to support up to 20 consortia (each consortia to win € 5 – 10 M).
Objective of the call is to support European web entrepreneurs by providing acceleration program and investment (80 % of the budget must be invested further into SMEs in € 50 – 150 k tranches).
I suggest building a consortium around EEF.
I’m Brussels at Digital Europe from 14th – 16th May and will meet a number of people from DG Connect, who will make the decision on the applicants.
I suggest using the next 2-3 weeks to build a theoretical consortia and I will be able to get a first personal feedback from the Commission.
Feel free to forward my mail to any of the potential stakeholders you believe could be interested.
Thanks and best regards,
Gábor
