Job Title: JBoss Administration

Location: Boston, MA

Duration: 8+month contract

Required Skills:

more than 3 years overall  experience with WAS/JBoss/ESB/Webserver 

Support the Middleware environment through the entire life cycle, forecasting to acquisitions through decommissioning 

Install/configure Middleware software (WAS/JBoss/ESB/Webserver) 

Configure Middleware software for HA and DR 

Apache web server & IBM HTTP server configurations 

Install/configure/troubleshoot/tune middleware(java) applications 

Basic understanding of UNIX Shell scripting, Jacl/Jython scripting, automation of routine system administration tasks 

such as deployments and configuration logfile cleanup using scripting                                        

Apply software updates/patches (WAS/JBoss/Mule ESB/Apache MQ, Java) to ensure that the environments are running 

optimally at supported software levels

Proficiency with Applications networking with TCP/IP, DNS, SNMP

Understanding of DB2

Understanding of AIX

Excellent knowledge of Disaster Recovery methods

Experience mentoring others
