Can we put a banner on the front page about the Polar Hack?

Right now a search for "masachussetts polar hack" turn up this first:

then

but not the polar hack site.

putting a link to the pHack site from h4wm dot org would drive traffic and lend some google link juice to http://www3.amherst.edu/~aanderson/polarhack/

Is that the official site of the 'thon, incidentally?

Also, it doesn't appear that https://twitter.com/HackForWestMA etc. promoting the Polar Hack. It seems like now is the time for full court press wrt publicity, unless attendance is already full. (?)

Where can I get a ticket, incidentally? I want to make sure I can come!! :)

1 last question: Becky is NPP umbrellaing this, alternately is Umass Amherst a nonprofit? I might be able to finagle a volunteer day from work, but I need an org to attribute it to (probably one of the partner orgs presenting a challenge would work but I'd need to have one lined up a couple weeks ahead to get my paperwork in).

Hey, sorry--just saw the last question addressed to me.

NPP isn't an umbrella org for the Polar Hack (I imagine Amherst College itself is a tax-exempt org). Hope that works for your paperwork, Sequoia, so you can use a volunteer day.
