Hello there in Thornton,

From The T-Exchange (Moray Firth Makerspace)

As I am a Fifer, born and bred, we should have no trouble communicating.....
In fact, not only was I born in Fife, I was born in Thornton...........

To be more specific about the location, it was in the front room of the house two south of Wm Thomson the Butcher at the "North End" of what is now the Main Street.
My twin brother, who now lives in Glenrothes, arrived twenty minutes after me.

However, after a bit of wandering involving Edinburgh, London and Cambridge, I now live in Forres and was a founder member of The T-Exchange (www.t-exchange.net). We are having our fith AGM and birthday party on Friday (17th Feb).

The number of makerspces (and such of that ilk)in Scotland has gone up by about one (you) in five years, while in the same time the number of makerspaces south of the border has increased by about eight times. We think it is about time that we all started to talk to each other and colletively raise the general profile in Scotland.

Have a look at our web site and you will see that we are a busy lot...........

More later........... My brother-in-law is French and, as I played rugby at Kirkcaldy High, I'm off now to see the game (on TV....)

Good luck with your eandeavours!

Bill Graham
Chairman
at the T-Exchange
