hey guys, it's time to throw out some of the unwanted equipment – does anybody want the big old projectors and the old peecees that have been generously donated? to my knowledge they have never even been plugged in and turned on.

i'm also going to say goodbye to my old segway p133. also some of the broken chairs in the back.

how does one responsibly dispose of electronics?

i'd like to get the space decluttered by end of april so we could make a party of it some evening and i'll sponsor drinks. we could get hella crunk.

Hi Meng

I'm at hackerspace now. I have seized your segway. I am thinking the electric motors could be repurposed as generators for wind power, which will allow me to unplug my aquaponics system and go "green". I will keep you posted on how far along I get with this.

Cheers

There is a contact on the wall near the stairs for someone who wants old
computers. Could you please look it up?

I'll happily take inventory of all the old computers and contact him to
see if he wants them. Stephan could you please put your two small boxes
aside if you don't want them counted as trash?

I'd like to assemble a working PC for an aircraft sim game, which ought
to be lots of fun on a projector. But there are more than enough parts
to do that (including new ones) at the back, so once I take inventory
I'll put aside what I need and the rest will go.

One of the 2 projectors is working, but needs a new bulb. From my
research it's not worth the cost. The other one shouldn't be plugged in;
it has a PSU problem. I don't know which is which :)

I've no idea how to get rid of those.

just dont throw away the mac battery, pls.
james is supposed to bring it to me,
so u can put it into my locker for example (the left bottom one)

the new owner of my ppc mac mini is alvin now.

when i did the ibasket project, we put together a pretty decent pc
to replace the old talking irc bot's machine.
it was in a black box. thomas tan was supposed to take it, but
im not sure he did.
there was another one we lower specs, but that one seemed to work well too.

happy easter and cleaning for everyone!

Underneath the mail trays there are a bunch of old junk that is ready
to be chucked out.

There is also stuff like
http://www.flickr.com/photos/hendry/6991555198/ that could go along
with it.
