Hello guys,

Would like to ask if anyone has experience in setting up a system
where a RFID reader can push the data read to a web interface. For
example, read the RFID tag and then pass the data to a web interface
by making a HTTP post call.

I'm exploring something and would like to know where to start in
learning about RFID technology.

Sincerely,
Isaac.

Thats simple with a microcontroller in between. I. e. an arduino + Ethernet shield + rfid reader. Can send you some links later.

And here's another option: I ran across Alien Technologies ALR-9800 which based on the attached spec sheet would seem to do what you are looking for.  They are available on ebay for 330 USD.  There seem to be others also for sale on ebay that might also work.

Best,

John
