Hackerspace oldtimers will remember when Razmig was just getting Viki started out of Hackerspace, doing those interminable phone calls and pacing back and forth in the space, no doubt annoying the art gallery below us to no end :)

So, speaking for HSG, I am glad that we managed to contribute our little bit to the ecosystem. This sort of thing is exactly what I had in mind when I thought, "Singapore could use a place for hackers to do our thing, and for founders to get their companies off the ground."

Today, dozens of co-working spaces later, I think we've proved our point…

Thanks and BIG hugs from Japan. Go Singapore go!! Funny how it really all started from hackerspace, and I met Meng and you there. Go all out! We're just starting ...

Razmig, Saemin - huge congrats from all of us here.

It's fantastic news for both your companies but also for the ecosystem - you've given us the home-grown regional success story we really need to encourage the community that it can happen here.

Huge respect all round
Hugh

It was a great place to work. I learned a lot and build up courage to
become an entrepreneur. Thanks Razmig for sowing the seeds.

I also met Razmig in person the 1st time in HackerspaceSG!
I also learnt more about CDNs and HTTP caching because of viikii - as
it was called back then.
Thanks Razmig for the opportunity to peek inside the old PHP engine
and also thanks for hosting events in your shared office with Pivotal
Labs SG.
I think the first time I saw an actual show-and-tell in my life was in
the viikii office :)

Outstanding news. Congrats to Viki & Razmig and the investors. I really echo and appreciate Meng's sentiments about HackerspaceSG. Hopefully it will always be a place where the seeds of such great things can be sown.
