Hi everyone,

Dan Wascovich (http://www.linkedin.com/in/danwascovich) is in town for a couple of weeks to mentor startups and speak at events etc.

I was thinking of bringing him over to Hackerspace to meet the community, and also do a short talk on "user centric design for software development". He is very passionate about this and is keen to help startups with this.

I have scheduled the talk for 15th Dec at 7pm.

I am not sure what the reception would be like for a session like this, so if any of you have any feedback on how to make it better or more suitable, I'd appreciate it.

Hey all,

I will be canceling the event. Other than a few private emails, response has been lukewarm.

I will still be bringing Dan over to show him the place and meet whoever's there, so do come by and say hi.

Yes he did. Nav suggested a morning event on 15th Dec at 9am. 

He just managed to book the place (Pacific Coffee at Red Dot Traffic building) and will be sending the invite out soon.

haa! Nav preferred a breakfast session (which i think is a refreshing change from evening events).

That way work time doesn't get disrupted

I need to clarify though that I'm still bringing him over as planned, on 15th Dec 7pm. So if you can't meet him in the morning session, you can still meet him in the evening session at Hackerspace :)
