Cheap and good accommodation in Tokyo

Hi,

Hope to get some help from folks who went to Toyko before.

Anyone can recommend me a good and cheap stay hotel in Tokyo? Planning
to go there for 4 days. Wondering should I stay at Shinjiku.

Any tips would help lots.

When I'm visiting Tokyo I tend to stay in this place which is about
10,000 yen a night:

Not the cheapest you'll find, but this place has the advantage of being
in Kichijoji, which is a nice place in itself, about 10 mins from
Shinjuku on the Chuo line, and 25 mins on the Inokashira-line to
Shibuya. Hotel itself is budget Japan business traveler-style.

Full disclaimer: I'm a Kichijoji addict. Iseya, Harmonica Yokocho,
Yodobashi Camera, Inokashira Koen, Jindaiji, Ghibli Museum. Can't get
enough of it.

I stayed at Ikebukuro Theatre Hotel. Triple bed for 7000yen a night. Got that through online but the website is Japanese.
Since its in Ikebukuro, its really central.

Their Jimbocho venue is close to the subway, nice area with many bookshops. And the cafe serves Thai, Indonesian food if you miss SE Asia. Also the only place in Asia that serves mate tea.
