So.. it turns out we might have the opportunity to take over our neighbour's space downstairs. He's moving out soon (end of July I think), and the landlord is asking us if we'd like to take over the space.

The thing is, it's another SGD 5800 on top of our SGD 4000 rent.

What do you guys think?

I think it's an excellent opportunity to pursue a Hackerspace Enterprise idea that was floated sometime ago...But we'd definitely need to get really serious commitments in terms of not just payments but also committing time to help run various duties. Maybe membership tiers come with varying levels of time commitments or something.

I do think it'll be really nice if we had a 'hackerspace cafe'. Remember Geek Terminal? Maybe this could be it.

Just a thought.

IF hackerspace cafe comes true, I can volunteer some time for it! 

Need more funds to secure the rent first though! ;)
