Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone knew where to get a few ABS plastic sheets (A4
size or smaller, about 0.125" thick) in Singapore? I'm not looking for a
bulk order. Just a couple of sheets.

Thanks,

Mike

If you have money and no time, element14 sells them (this size/spec may be out of stock):

otherwise you can probably find what you need in the area of Jalan Besar behind hackerspace/simlim square.

If it's plain arcrylic in small sheets, most hobby shops will have them in stock. For aeromodelling supplies my favourite stop is fook hai building near Chinatown. Not quite as cheap as Jalan Besar, but a lot more convenient and no need to bargain in dialect.

Art Friends would probably be another good place to look. Price isn't cheap though.. what are you looking at this for?

Cheers

Thanks a lot to everyone for all the info. I'm looking to mount my
pan/tilt rig onto the abs sheet and then attach that to a magic arm or
tripod with a 1/4-20 screw. The ikea cutting board it's currently
bolted on to, while functional, is lacking coolness and portability.
But it does have a convenient carry handle in its favor. -Mike
