Hey Tim,

A warm welcome in advance to Singapore =) Guests are absolutely welcoem at the Hackerspace, just ring the doorbell when you pop by. Weekday afternoons are best to catch the crowd.

We have a few public projects over at https://github.com/hackerspacesg. Feel free to have a look. HackDo's our membership management system and HackPhone7's our Windows Phone app (iOS and Android, anyone?)

We're also having a HackerspaceSG hackathon taking place in early Sept, https://www.facebook.com/events/333133036776477/, so you might want to pop by for that too.

Cheers
Ruiwen

Hello,

I am having an extended holiday in Singapore until the end of the month and looking for interesting things to do. I don't know that much about Hackerspaces, but was hoping to learn more about the HackerspaceSG, if not get involved somehow.

Can I drop in some time? Would it be possible for me to get involved, possibly helping on a project.

I am from Australia. I have long been interested in electronics, but don't have much practical design experience. My main experience is with C# on Windows CE devices, and some Java and JavaScript/HTML/CSS. I have also done a little bit with Python, Perl, PHP and C/C++.
