Hackerspace day at Format - 1st birthday!

Devoted hackers, sometimes attendees, lurkers and friends - it's our
birthday, so come and celebrate with us!

After a year of hacking together we've arrived at the inaugral
Hackerspace Adelaide exhibition day as part of the 2011 Format Festival.

We've put together some pretty neat group projects throughout the year
- so come and see them all in the one room, and in the flesh!

When: Wednesday 23rd Feb (today) 2pm - 9pm

Where: Format basement, 15 Peel st, city.

What: Peel Street Lantern, Tekken Torture Tournament, Bike Generator
vs. Stan on TV, SpokePOV, Mind Controlled Air Cannon, Crochet
Computer, Kinect Invisible Piano, XO Orchestra!

I think everyone involved in this today deserves congratulations. It
was a most successful day, and the Tekken Torture was very
entertaining for everyone(especially spectators). I think particular
recognition needs to be made for Pix and Ryan, who spent countless
hours hacking together Tekken Torture over the last couple of weeks as
well as working on the Lantern; and to Jon who has successfully beaten
his head against the wall trying to get the Lantern working for today.

Congratulations Everyone, cant wait to see how we improve on this next
year.
