Hi all,

The PCBs for my MiniNut Telemetry board arrived in the post today!

I got these ordered through SeeedStudio's Fusion PCB service, and they
use 0.2mm clearances.

I'm quite impressed with the manufacturing quality!

nice dude. I'm going to get something made soon. im wondering if you
know how in eagle if you can allow a whole track to be exposed metal,
would you know about this? i guess its kinda like that big metal pad
you have in your board there.

The first few MiniNut telemetry boards have been built!

There were a few stuff-ups on my part resulting in use of re-work wire,
but all the boards are working!

Cheers,
Mark

Outstanding Mark! Did you solder these all by hand?

Yes, all by hand.
I was considering doing a bit of re-flow for the BMP085 pressure sensors
(QFN package), but I ended up not needing to.

Cheers,
Mark

Have you tried reflow with solder paste and a hot air gun? I've heard a
toaster oven produces better results but I haven't tried one yet - alas
a proper temperature controlled hot air soldering pencil is way out of
my price range. The hot air gun method is unnerving at first but you get
high quality results after a little practice (or a lot of practice in my
case).
