brilliant, thanks both - beautiful work!

we had a couple of TAFE students 'officially' documenting the day and i'll be gathering an archive of all our activities - I will add both your links to the collection. if any other HA members have photos from the day they'd like included please send a link. If you shared via social media but didn't use the hashtag let me know your handles and i'll go dig them out too.

really grateful there were so many people documenting all this - the more evidence we have to show how incredible yesterday was the more likely it is that we can make a viable case for an annual event :)

and generally - huge thanks to all of you for helping in so many ways; from being on the organising team, sharing the word in advance and being such bloody lovely makers. so many people said how helpful you guys had been and i don't think i've ever seen so many smiling faces in one place ever before. you're all just wonderful.

perhaps next time it could have a theme like ecology/environment which would mean that people would be bringing something new or stretching into new ideas. this could be a way to 'moonshot' the makerfaire.

It was a great day, met up with so so many lovely interesting people and the organisers/volunteers/etc. had a wonderful combination of enthusiasm, friendliness and understanding while still being professional, something you don't usually see event at smaller events these days.
