Maybe I am blind: But where do I find the question mark key on Hackers Keyboard?

I set portrait mode to "5-row compact layout" and disabled punctuation extra row

Can I add it somehow manually? Or replace e.g. "^" by "?" ?

Ok, thank you. I can see the question mark.

However I would like to place it (visible) on another key.

Can I somehow modify the currently keyboard layout?
(e.g. by editing a layout (text) file)?

In Hacker's Keyboard Settings > Key layout options > Voice input, change the option from "on main input" to "on symbols keyboard", then you'll have the question mark at its usual location. Yes, the default option for that makes the question mar a bit hard to find, sorry about that.
