After the huge turnout and resounding success of Hacker Fair 0, we're hosting another one!
A Hacker Fair is an event for talented developers, engineers,
artists, and makers to showcase their skills for companies.
Candidates get to give the presentation while the companies are the
ones walking around. Think of it as a science fair where an
applicant's project is showcased, the judges are the recruiters, and
the prize could be a job offer! Join the mailing lists for this event

Fair Candidates
This event is Saturday, April 3, 2010 from 10AM-2PM.
Candidates are invited to set up at 9AM. Registration for the event is a http://hackerfair.pbworks.com/Hacker-Fair-1
We will be hosting a mini-hackathon for people with last-minute projects or those that want to set up their display boards on the Friday night prior to the Fair, beginning at 6:30PM.
We are charging recruiters for Hacker Fair 1 to raise funds to get heat installed in 140B. We understand that some of you may represent small bootstrapping startups and that the registration fee will be prohibitive. Please email me and we will try to work something out.
Early candidates are free. Both candidates and recruiters will be charged a late registration if they do not register on or before March 27, 2010. Hacker Fair 0 doubled in the last 48 hours before the event and put a real strain on our planning and resources, so we are trying to prevent a flood of late sign-ups.
As usual, please feel free to email with suggestions and questions.
Hope to see you at Hacker Fair 1!!
Thanks,
Katy
