Hi all,

Rowan & I believe that we have paid our dues for the month (we were late on Tues 7th, so I popped up & I recall handing cash to Tom) yet the portal shows us as unpaid & I was asked for cash again at the meeting in Archies, where I queried this as I believed we'd already paid..

Can we please review this months payments to confirm if overlooked?

Also I'd like to request a receipt going forward (email confirmation fine, as long as it's at time of payment) to avoid any misunderstandings going forward.

On another note I see the website has changed name / URL & design - I know the hackspace name as a legal entity was under discussion, bit I don't recall any name change being passed by the members for discussion.  Can I ask the state of play here?

As a final note, we (the hackspace) have made promises to CCS that a thank you page / post would go up, as thanks for the sponsorship, via provision of free internet etc.  Can I ask who is currently actioning this & what the timescale is?

Cheers

Tony

Hey Tony.

Anyone free to draft out a page is free to (rule 4 :p) - our new in-house site/wiki is perfect for that. A sponsorship page will be needed for our workshop so can take this on if no other. Have you got any written guidelines about how CCS want there sponsorship represented? If so forward to me direct pls.

Cheers,
Ed

It's on my TODO list to make hackhub send emails for new users already. Not a big addition after that to have it send receipts for payments as well. Then we just need anybody accepting payments to update hackhub but I'm not sure there is a tech solution for that.

As we now have the ability to change the website easily, we now have two
parts to the website:

* The main public facing bit
* The wiki (also public, but not necessarily "official" as it's open
for anyone to edit).

I'm happy to add sponsors logos at the bottom of the front page if
someone would send me a logo. We can also add more details about what
each sponsor provides us with on our About page or on the Wiki.

Iain.

Sounds like a good idea. This will likely get easier when we have the
bank account set up and standing orders in place.

Time was pretty damn short. If enough people don't like it we can roll
it back after the workshop, but we now have a functioning website which
I will continue working on tonight and a functioning wiki. We also
control the Twitter. We also have a logo that is actually relevant. We
also have a name that doesn't contain "hack" in it and sounds pretty
damn cool.

Literally, if you provide me with a PNG of the logo I can have something
on the front page tonight linking to the website of your choice.

I have added a sponsors section to the main page on the wiki, and listed and made the page for Converged.
I have attached the logo's for one to go in the main page footer. It would be nice to have the info on the About page too.. (copy on the wiki page I made)

Logo is on the front page linked to the website.

I'll make a sponsors page tonight. Need to do work for another couple of
hours first.
