Hi everyone,

It's been a while since we've had much activity on Hacker Within. I'd like to light a spark and reinvigorate things, starting with a Software Carpentry boot-camp scheduled for Apr 29 & 30.

In particular, I'm looking for a few more instructors for topics like version control (git), python, make, etc. We already have a few people identified, including Katy and an overseas visitor.

I'd like to have 2-3 more - ideally available for most/all of those 2 days. You would take ownership of one of the teaching modules and help in the room during other modules.

Please let me know in the next week or so if you are interested.

Paul

Must be some kind of sign as I met Greg Wilson for the first time last night. Had dinner with him and a few others in Berkeley.

Would love to see the instructional materials from the boot camp, perhaps on THW web site.

Speaking of websites.... Nico - are you listening!?!?

In a sad irony, the THW website is long since dead and the content in
the ether (or on Nico's hard drive somewhere).

I'd love to see a small collection of people reassemble something,
ideally stored in a repo. I propose storing & publishing on Github!

Any takers? If we had 1 or 2 committed people, they might be able to
badger Nico sufficiently for some semblance of the content.
