Hello all,

The first meeting is now over, it took us about one hour to go through
the exercises in section 1.1. The next one (in which we'll discuss
section 1.2) will take place in exactly two weeks, but we haven't
determined the time yet. In order to make it possible for most people
to attend, please post the time you'd like to start the meeting. Take
into consideration that it will last about two or three hours,
guesstimating based on the number of exercises and the difficulty.
Post times in GMT, please, to avoid conversion mixups.

Thanks.

23 GMT would be grand for me, which is one hour earlier than it was
tonight. I can still attend as late as 00 if needed, but 01 would be too
late, definitely.

Hi,

I am new to the group. Feb. 8th would be fine with me. Will we meet
using irc or skype?

Ok now I'm incredibly confused, what is the time we're meeting?

Also, which day? Weds/Thurs was mentioned but title still indicates
Sunday.

Could the meeting be pushed to at least Friday? I have classes on
Wed.

I believe the meetings were scheduled for Sundays, is there any reason to change that? Oldarney, why did you say it's on Wednesday?
I don't think this thread is doing too well, if there isn't a lot of people that would like to have the meeting earlier or later, we'll stick to the default 12am GMT / 4pm PST / 7pm EST.

The people who attended the first meeting decided that a Sunday two
weeks later sounded about right.

Just to clarify:

The next meeting is on Sunday, February 8, at 4PM PST.

This is also 7PM EST, and midnight GMT.

It's not on Wednesday, that was a red herring.

There's been one request to move the meeting one hour earlier,
but so far nobody else has asked to move the time. If there's
anybody else in EU (or anywhere else) that would want the time
changed, please speak up.

Btw i just didnt bother deleting it and reposting, i would think feb 8
made it clear enough that it was sunday, the times were correct so why
bother i said to my self. Google groups seriously needs an edit
button. These are the correct times.

It's a mailing list! Edit button?
Well then it's on Feb 8th at midnight GMT, and I suppose we don't need to ask again for the following meetings. If someone really wants to change the time, create a thread and hope more people feel the same, otherwise, we're sticking with 12am GMT on Sundays, every two weeks or so.
