Hacker Fair 1 Postponed

Hello everybody,

I've been talking with a lot of recruiters and trying to listen to what we can do to make Hacker Fair 1 better.  Apparently, since this is the time when most of the new graduates will be seeking jobs, many companies are at their busiest time, already attending many career fairs and processing the highest volume of candidates they see at any time of the year.  In light of this, we think the fair isn't going to be as valuable to the recruiters who are already quite busy, or to the candidates who have higher odds of being lost in the shuffle.  We have decided that we are moving the fair to the summer at a date to be announced.  If you have input on what date that should be please tell me.

If any company currently signed up does not want to attend The Hacker Fair on the new date and would like their donation back please tell me.  If any of the candidates who are flying from out of town already have their plane tickets, please contact me with a list of companies you waned to speak with at the fair.  If your project is finished and you can include a little youtube video of you introducing the it that would be awesome.  I will try my best to put you in touch with recruiters representing the companies you were interested in.

Again, I apologize for the inconvenience caused to everybody involved.  The fair organizers have discussed this a lot, and this was the decision.  I think it will help us run a larger, better quality, and more successful fair.
