Hacker Fair is the Dojo's project to match awesome makers to companies. We invite people to bring awesome things they made instead of resumes and display them to local companies that want to hire. It's like a science fair with jobs for prizes!
Everybody's coming to hire, from Pebble Watches to Polyvore, and from Leapmotion to Yelp!
On the candidates side, we have people flying in from all over, including from Los Angelos and India and projects including a .NET to Javascript compiler, analytics for Amazon S3 logs, tons of mobile apps and a mobile robot!
We're also going to have an awesome party at the end.
You can join the fun and see who is coming at
http://www.hackerdojo.com/HackerFair3Please help us get the word out, especially those of you who still have access to your college mailing lists. Crash space is available for non-local candidates, ping
sponso...@hackerdojo.com for details. A bus will come ferry candidates and companies from San Francisco and remember, you can easily get to the new Dojo via public transit by transferring at the Mountain View Caltrain station to the VTA lightrail and getting off less than a block away at the NASA/Bayshore stop.
Thanks,
Katy
