Anyone have any experience with PHP web hosts, good or bad, they'd be willing to share. Link to relevant blogs?

Hey,
Almost all hosting providers offer some form of PHP and MySQL running, from $7/m accounts +. I would use Media Temple, they have great plans starting at $20/m and they give you a lot of perks with the accounts. Alternatively, if you want to be able to tweak the server yourself, for $49/m you can get into their dv (dedicated virtual servers), I would say those are your best options for the price.

Good Luck.

btw - for blogging software, b2evolution is actually really good and it is fairly easy to customize.

I have used a lot of 3rd party apps and this is easy enough to extend or make it feel your own.

Good Luck.

I've been using DreamHost for the past 4 years, if your looking for shared hosting solution, if not 10tb.com is good.
