minimize, hide or on/off

Hi,
I really like this plugin, and use it for string conversions now and again.
It does however take up quite a lot of real-estate in my browser, and I would like to have the option to hide it when I don't use it, or minimize it when I just need the real-estate for a quick look.
Do you think that could be done? Firebug is a good example of how I want it.
Maybe it allready is possible? Currently I have to browse through the ff-menu (which I do not find intuitive anymore) to check/uncheck which toolbars are showing, or disable/enable plugin and restart firefox, which is a bit cumbersome.

Have you tried F9?

F9 is the way to go. There is also the "Show/Hide Hackbar" in the tools menu

ouch! I tried F9 and although it does show/hide the hackbar, it also moves it to a very awkward position in between my tabs(on top) and the address-bar.
And now I can't find how to move it back to the bottom of the toolbar area, where it was originally, and where it fit quite well.

ps I don't think there is a "Tools" menu in ff anymore. But I did find the "Show/Hide Hackbar" button in FF->"Options"->"Toolbar Layout...", so thanks ;)
pps. The button does the same thing as F9.

ok an update:
-the hackbar returns to its original position when I restart firefox.
-I have now testet it a few times, and it seems this happens everytime F9 or "Show/Hide Hackbar" button is used to hide and then show the hackbar

What firefox version are you using? And could you upload a screenshot somewhere? I'd like to see what you mean. :)

-I'm using ff 13.0.1.
-I found that the "Tools" menu is there after all, just hidden from view. It pops up if I press the Alt-key.
