I sent this back in Nov & Feb; I got an email or two showing an interest in donating, then I guess life & other things got in the way, because nothing happened. So, here it is again. Please, please consider donating some of your old Akita figurines to me so I can redo them for ARSF fund raisers.
Thanks, Jen
PERMISSION TO FORWARD - OK, Please, please forward to anyone & everyone you think can help!!!!!!
I am looking for old beat up Akita figurines to do some painting or other things & use them as fund raisers for Akita Rescue Society of Florida. I can also use the cast resin head study or full body magnets done in the same style as the samples below.
The types that come to mind are Sandicast, North Light, Castagna, Tiny One, My Dog, K-9 Kreations etc... If it's resin, stone cast, plastic, plaster etc... I can use them. The Tiny One's tend to be no more than 2" tall & is most common sitting, but I think they make a standing one too. Northern Light, Castagna, My Dog all run between 4-5" in size, K-9 Kreations are about 3 1/2" tall; Sandicast is usually the biggest & heaviest. I've never seen the DWK- World of Wonders but it is supposed to be 11" tall plasticast resin.
You all know them, the readily available commercial, easy to find Akita figurines; I need them. You know how the Sandicast & Northern light somehow get paint chips on them, even though they sit on the same shelf for years. I can even use them if small chips of ear, tail or paw has occurred (getting pretty good at using Mighty Putty to mold broken ears, noses & toes). I'm looking for any size small or large. Heck, you could have a full sized figurine that dropped & the head split from the body – I’m sure I can still use the head somehow in a creative way. Here are some links to the types I have need for, it is not exhaustive by any means as these cast figurines have been around for a long time. I bet all of you have duplicates tucked away somewhere that people have given you as gifts... If they aren't sentimental treasures & you feel you can part with them, contact me & I will give you my mailing address.

Others I don’t know who produced them:

There are probably many others I've never seen before, so don't think it's just these. I can use any figurine you send me, big or small.
IF you have a non-cast resin figurine of higher quality & want to donate it, by all means, feel free to do so as every donation helps raise funds for ARSF. If you need a receipt for tax purposes, we can provide one.
Contact me if you can donate any of the above or other cast resin Akita items & I will send you my snail mail addy.
