The last three games have been well attended, with last Sunday's game
having 20 people. Time for a second field.

- an excellent reverse dive
- a throw so far into the trees as to require the person dispatch to
cross a slough
- first recorded throw of a disk over a slough
- a hawk has apparently adopted the HAC game
- three games ago the hawk flew down and carefully investigated the
concrete forms in the SW corner of the field. The hawk seemed quite
certain that a meal hid within but finally left the hunt for another day.
- said hawk also did a nice long low glide-by

- nice red long-sleeved "jersey" with "SF" (San Francisco) logo left
at the field. It will live in the embedded reporter's car until claimed.

Hi, John,

    Last year the Observer published one of my photos of a HAC snow game (with our previous selves - from 2015), and I anticipated a New Yorker magazine-length expose about Ultimate as an up and coming world sport, the depth of the Ann Arbor Ultimate scene in general, and the great atmosphere and long relationships to be found at HAC in particular.  Alas, there was barely a description of the pic itself.  If I remember, I think Tim, our Observer insider, mentioned that something had gotten lost in translation.

   So I hope you do better at getting some Observer publicity.  Here's some photos I've taken in the last few years:
