Hi Friends,
I have attached a new bible study to go with next week’s Back to Church Sunday.
Please encourage your group members to pray for and ask a friend to church this Sunday. All services are being planned to welcome visitors amongst us.
Also people have been asking how they can respond to the Pakistan floods. I have copied information below from the Anglican Archbishop of Sydney’s Appeals Unit. Please pass this information to your group members.
Millions of people have been affected by Pakistan’s worst flooding in decades, with the crisis deepening as torrential rains continue to fall across the country.
As many as 14 million people have been affected by the floods with at least 1600 deaths. Entire villages have been washed away and millions of hectares of crops have been destroyed. The threat of water-borne diseases is high.
The Archbishop of Sydney’s Appeals Unit is deeply concerned about the plight of the Pakistani people. As we do not have established partners in the region we are not running an appeal.
Our recommendation to those who would like make a donation is to look on the Australian Council for International Development (ACFID) website for a list of organisations that have established appeals.

We encourage you to pray fervently for the people of Pakistan amidst this devastating disaster.
With much love in Christ Jesus to you all.
