BarryParker was the son of the deceased Henry and Nora Parker. He was being raised by his Uncle Jay and Aunt Joan. He was at on a field trip at a police station one day and one of the police scientists were experimenting with chemicals. The chemicals were struck by lightning. No one was harmed, but a spider was caught in it. It worked it's say over to Barry and bit him. It gives him the strength and agility of a spider, plus super speed and the abilty to walk on walls. He went on TV to try and earn money. However, he ignores a robber coming past him and lets him get away. He returns home that night to find out that his Uncle Jay was shot. He realizes that with great power, there must come great responsibility. He named himself Spider-Flash (due to him having the powers of a spider and after his Uncle's super hero name) and became New Central City's greatest hero.
In the Ultimate 52, Spider-Flash's history has changed. He is now only 15, as are other characters such as Mary Iris West. He is not in a relationship with Mary Iris, they are only friends. He is now dating Gwen Spivott. Uncle Jay and Aunt Joan no longer exist in this timeline, as they exist on an alternate Earth. He now gained his powers on a field trip to Oscorp (Amalgam version of Oscorp). While a scientist there was experimenting with chemicals, he injected it into a spider. The spider bit him. After several black outs, Barry now knows of his new powers. He used them to become a professional wrestler, but ends up letting the theif go. He returns home to find out his mother was killed, with his father being blamed for it. He lives with his friend Mary Irist West. Meanwhile, Mark Osborn has been studying the results of Barry being bitten by the spider. He uses the chemicals on himself, and combines it with technology his brother invented to allow him to control the weather. Spider-Flash defeats him.

Hi, I am at present wearing a 7 day Spider flash event monitor, my problem is i am in my 4th day of wearing and the green light is not flashing neither does it bleep when I press the green button, has anyone any experience of this please as I am concerned that it is not recording ! Many thanks for any advice offered. I would phone the department of hospital but unfortunately it is the weekend.
Thank you for taking the time to reply and the link, it's just that I am worried that nothing will be recorded and I've waited so long for this test don't want to be at the back of the queue again. Many thanks.
Holter: With both the 24or 48 hour monitor you wear this device the entire period requested by the doctor and cannot remove the device at any point. It will record the entire time it is worn in the selected period.
Spider Flash: This is worn for 14 days. This device can be removed and reapplied throughout the wear. The spider flash has a recorder button when pushed will record 90 seconds before and after initiated. This will also have certain times throughout each day were it does its own 2 minute recording. This device only has a maximum wear of 14 days and then must be return due to storage and battery supply.
Event Recorder: This device is worn for 2 weeks and can be removed throughout the duration and reapplied. Electrodes and batteries are supplied upon appointment so you can change these out. The event recorder is set to only go off when initiated by the patient. It will record 30 seconds before and after it is pressed. This device can be filled up 6 times and then will need to be download; which is done in the comfort of your own home.
You will be wearing your monitor for either 24 or 48 hours and will not be able to remove it during that time. So, it may be a good idea to have a bath or shower prior to your appointment (you will not be able to get the monitor wet, but if necessary you can take a sponge bath). Please refrain from wearing cream or oils on your chest due to the fact that the electrodes will have a hard time sticking to your skin. If you wish, you can shave your chest if necessary or we will be done at the office if any hair will compromise the recording.
When you first plug in the lead set at the top of the recorder the second number that pops up in the middle of the screen tells you approximately how many days are left on your batteries. Also a flashing batter light will appear on the top left hand corner of the screen if the batteries are too low.
No, the spider flash is designed to have a pre-record of up to a minute and 30 seconds. So it will need time to collect the data before you press the green button. Also, the spider flash is programmed to take its own recordings throughout the day.
You can drop this package off at the main entrance of the Hotel Dieu Hospital on Brock Street by leaving it at the information desk, then information can give us a call at ext. 2335 or 2249 and we will gladly come down and pick it up
However when I change the klipper/scripts/spi_flash/board_defs.py file and put swspi defs into it like I reported in this issue : Klipper's flash-sdcard.sh script can't find the SD card. Issue #38 FYSETC/FYSETC-SPIDER GitHub It works ! So my guess is that the board defs are wrong, or have I miss something ?
The official SD Card specification states that the SPI clock should be set at 400KHz during initialization. I made the change in 2022 because I discovered that some of my cards failed to initialize at 4MHz. That said, because we feed the commands through Klipper to the SD card, we are technically out of spec anyway, and its possible that the slower speed is causing other SD cards to fail.
I am new to working with Git and I was not sure how to apply the PR. So I did it by hand seeing as there are not many changes. It looks like it works fine to me. After applying the patch I ran the command as normal and it failed. Then I ran it again with the -s option and it worked.

The history of Eugene "Flash" Thompson of Earth-78127 mirrors that of his Earth-616 counterpart until the point where there was a public exhibition on radiation that irradiated a spider. In this reality, Flash Thompson attended the exhibition along with Peter Parker. Flash's attendance led to Thompson being bitten by the spider instead of Peter Parker, and gaining the proportionate abilities of a spider.[1]
Heading home with his dates, he saved the two girls from an out of control car by using his spider-strength to toss them out of the way. Dismissing how fantastic the scenario was, they would happen to pass by the arena where Crusher Hogan would be challenging people to last three minutes in the ring with him for a $100.00 prize. Taking the bet, Flash battled Hogan and not used to his superior strength accidentally killed the wrestler. When the police attempted to arrest him, he fled capture and realized he had other powers such as super-human agility and the ability to cling walls. Wanted by the police and realizing that everyone knew who he was, and guilt ridden for killing an innocent man by accident, Flash Thompson decided to take up a costumed identity and fight crime as Captain Spider.[1]
He clashed with such foes as the Chameleon and the Tinkerer and easily put them to justice. Peter Parker grew an interest in Captain Spider and followed his exploits. During Captain Spider's attempt to stop the thefts of the Vulture, Captain Spider seemingly died in combat when the Vulture carried the Captain high into the air and dropped him. With no means of stopping his fall, Captain Spider fell to his apparent death, and his body was found by Peter Parker. Unmasking Captain Spider as Flash Thompson, Parker cursed Thompson for being a glory hog and said that it took more than just super powers to be a hero.[1]
He returned to life again and was being observed by the Master Weaver through the Web of Life and Destiny.[4] He later re-joined the Spider-Army and participated in their failed bombing of Jennix's laboratory.[6]
Flash Thompson is a star high school football player, who mercilessly bullies his high school classmate Peter Parker, but greatly admires Spider-Man, an irony in which the superhero takes some gratification. In time, they become close friends in college after Flash matures and he later discovers Peter is Spider-Man. After graduation, he joins the United States Army, but becomes haunted by his combat experiences, leading to alcoholism. After losing both of his legs in the Iraq War, Flash Thompson turns into the superhero Agent Venom after being bound to the Venom symbiote, which he controls via drugs. Eventually during an argument between him and Eddie Brock regarding the Venom symbiote, he became the new host of the Anti-Venom symbiote.[1]
