Construction Site Updates

4th and Reed, Home Renovation - San Jose

Inside 4th and Reed Condos - HabitatEBSV.org - 900x600-3 This incredible renovation is officially complete! Thank you to all of the amazing volunteers, partners, donors, and future homeowners who have made this ambitious vision a reality. This community's support has turned this building's rich history into a sustainable future. Due to your generosity and efforts, an architectural treasure has avoided the wrecking ball, and four families will call it home.

Sequoia Grove, New Home Development - Hayward

Though these ten homes are really taking shape, there's still lots to do at Sequoia Grove! Volunteers are helping us out this month with tasks like painting, trim, fencing, and more. Assistant Construction Manager, Jared, gives us an inside peek at what's happening on site:

Esperanza Place, New Home Development - Walnut Creek

We are inching closer to hosting volunteer groups at the final phase of our Esperanza Place development in Walnut Creek, with limited volunteerism to begin in June and full-fledged volunteerism in July! Other Support Opportunities

NEW Opportunity: Oakland ReStore Warehouse Volunteer

As a Warehouse Volunteer, you will work with our wonderful Logistics team to prepare donated items to be sent to one of our three ReStore locations. In our warehouse, you will help to load and unload trucks, sort and clean items, and help assemble items. No experience is necessary and we provide all the equipment needed to move items, like straps and dollies. Half day and full day shifts available.

The Build-A-Thon is Back!

This community-favorite building event is deeply ingrained in the Habitat DNA. About 400 volunteers will frame walls, compressing months of construction progress into just three days at Esperanza Place in Walnut Creek. Plus, it's a fundraiser that brings in critical investment that moves Habitat’s work forward even when the event has ended.
