H&H CONSTRUCTION FILLING NEEDS ON A WEEKLY BASIS
To say that Herb Borden and Harvey Morris have been at it a while at Habitat would be an understatement. If you've ever set foot in a Habitat home, then you've seen their work, but maybe not have noticed it. Every Tuesday and
Herb and Harvey take a moment and pose for a photo with HFHNCC Executive Director Kevin L. Smith and thier brand new podium, build from scratch!
H&H
Wednesday, these two gentlemen have been assisting Steve Hummel, warehouse/ Property Supervisor for more than five years, and prior to that, were out on site with as much frequency. The two, affectionately known as H & H Construction fabricate all of the window sills, handrails and trim for the stairways on our Habitat homes. Boden, 78, a retired DuPont chemical engineer and Morris, 82, retired self-employed and former restaurateur and proprietor of the Harvey House in Wilmington, also handle special construction projects, such as building desks for employees, painting the offices and recently as pictured, building event podiums! HFHNCC would like to extend a big Habitat "THANK YOU!" for all these gentlemen do for Habitat and the homeowners.
