Massive problems installing habari 0.9

I try to install habari 0.9 and I'm very disappointed. v0.9 is called "stable", but when I try to install it on my local xampp, I got massive problems and a lot of errors.

First I try to install it on my netbook. No chance. It doesn't matter what I do, I got a lot of error messages. Then I try to install it on my PC. Now the error messages are gone, but the CSS is gone too (see screenshots here https://plus.google.com/photos/116844107236111670286/albums/5861851971075228353)

Do you really called this version "stable"? Or is it a joke?

I'm using xampp with PHP5.4 and MySQL5, the requirements are fullfilled (tested with tests/requirements.php). Habri is installed in the root of the virtual host and was extracted from the zip archive.

Is there a chance to get habari working?

Habari 0.9 on Windows has a number of issues related to path separator
problems. To the best of my knowledge, these issues have been corrected
in 0.9.1.

0.9.1 should be released soon. In the interim, here is a download of
0.9.1, which should work on the Windows platform:
