AFAIR the problem is that the database gets flood with log entries until it crashes. Does not sound like something related to hosting.

Nonetheless we should fix this problem by clearing the database logs. Though Habari development stagnates, we built something good and it's sad we don't even have a working website. Also, it leaves a very bad impression when mentioning work on Habari in a job application and they are like um, it's broken.

Er, the Habari logs in the database. Or resetting the database entirely. Owen used to fix that, I never had real insight what's going on on the server.
