Testing of the 0.4.1 branch

Can other people confirm that the following do not work:

- Simplefilesilo plugin (nothing works) else, we need to provide
instructions
- Viddler plugin (nothing works, can't log in) I don't even get the
tab on the publish page.

Any other bugs that do not show in the following list:

- When searching, results include deleted content.
- When creating a user, it does not remember field values if error
occur.
- When editing a profile, it brings you back to user list on
submission.
- Commenting behavior is different for non-existant and existant user.
- Filtering logs by user does not work.
- Deleting a user's post when deleting that user does not work.

These will not be fixed in 0.4.1, but will be ticketed to fix before
next release.

r1507 committed a patch from Blake Johnson that fixed a lot of the
SimpleFile media silo functionality. It's not complete, but you can
now create directories, upload files, view thumbnails, and navigate
the directory structure.

What is our policy on this? Should we include it in 0.4.1?

I don't think we should ship broken (non-functional) core plugins...

0.4.1 is a fix for data loss. The SimpleFile silo does not cause one
to lose data. We should not include the r1507 fixed in 0.4.1.

Confirmed. The plugin is piratically useless at this point

Confirmed that the tab does not display. Also, when trying save the viddler login info, the following error is shown:

Error: SimpleXMLElement::__construct() [function.SimpleXMLElement---construct]: Entity: line 1: parser error : Start tag expected, '<' not found

plugin activated.. :/

I just downloaded 0.4.1 from the main website, is it me or is the
blueprint framework missing?

No, it's apparently not just you. Apologies for the 3rdparty
directory being empty, will be addressed ASAP. Thanks for the heads
up.

I agree. My fixes from r1507 add functionality, so they should not be
included in 0.4.1.

I tried the SimpleFileSilo out yesterday (simply uploading an image
and publishing it) and it worked ok. At first it did not appear to
work, and there was no useful error message, but when I created the
user/files directory everything was fine.
