Those that currently have licensing, in the below categories, can continue until July 1, 2023. The phased-out registrations will no longer be in effect after July 1,2023. to maintain your local competency card, continue to update your insurances with the licensing division. Contractors registered through the Department of Business and Professional Regulation and locally licensed with the Florida jurisdictions may obtain a local license with the City of Port St Lucie through the process: Application of Certification of Competency.

Locally licensed registered contractors may submit a request for Letter of Reciprocity when seeking to register as a contractor in a different municipality. This process eliminates having to retake the exam and streamlines the registration process. To request a Letter of Reciprocity, submit the request via email to contracto...@cityofpsl.com. The processing fee for this service is, $35.

The License Server does not require domain membership. You can install the License Server in a workgroup and still perform all licensing functions on behalf of Citrix products. To manage Citrix Licensing Manager users having Active Directory users or groups, the users must be part of a domain. Otherwise, use local Windows users and groups.

We recommend that you upgrade the License Server to the latest version when you upgrade or install new Citrix products. The new License Servers are backward compatible and support older products and license files. Each time a new License Server is released, it might contain better security features than in previous versions. We also recommend the following security considerations when you configure your environment.

Citrix License Server uses Microsoft Active Directory for authentication. Citrix strongly recommends that you implement good security practices in Microsoft Active Directory (like account lockout and password management) to securely deploy Citrix License Server. For more information, see the Account lockout threshold and Password must meet complexity requirements articles.

During installation, localized characters in the installation path can cause the installation to fail. Accept the default installation path or type only ASCII alphabetic letter characters for the installation directory.

You can install licensing components on a separate, dedicated server or on a server they share with another application. Alternatively, you can use a web or application server. However, the locations mentioned later in this article are less resource intensive. If you are running fewer than 50 servers or 10,000 licenses, you can install the License Server on the same server as your product. To determine if relocation of the License Server to another system is necessary, monitor CPU and memory load (lmgrd.exe and CITRIX.exe).

Use the CitrixLicensing.exe file for all future installations, except for Active Directory deployments. In that case, use the .msi. Ensure that both .exe and .msi files are present for the installation.

The Citrix Service Provider program requires Customer Experience Improvement Program (CEIP) and Call Home. If you are a Citrix Service Provider, you cannot disable CEIP or Call Home. Citrix collects basic licensing data as necessary for its legitimate interests, including license compliance. For more information, see Citrix Licensing Compliance.

Ensure that you run the command line with administrator privileges. To start the command prompt with elevated privileges, choose Start, right-click Command Prompt, and choose Run as administrator. The following sample command line installs licensing in silent mode. Add the properties you want to set.Type the command in one line without returns. The following example is in multiple lines because of space limitations.

Ensure that you run the command line with administrator privileges. To start the command prompt with elevated privileges, choose Start, right-click Command Prompt, and choose Run as administrator.

The License Management Service operates automatically within the License Server and allows for electronic reporting of basic licensing data. You can opt for manual reporting after installation by disabling License Management Service. For information on manual reporting, see Reporting options.

This step requires OpenSSL or another tool that allows you to extract the certificate and private key from a .pfx file. The version of OpenSSL shipped with the License Server does not support extracting certificates and private keys. For information about downloading OpenSSL, go to www.openssl.org. Citrix recommends installing OpenSSL on a separate workstation to perform these steps:

You can use a proxy with the Citrix Licensing Manager, CEIP, and Call Home. When you configure a proxy server, requests to download licenses and upload telemetry data are sent through a proxy server. If the automatic upload of data fails, check the firewall setting or configure a proxy. For more information, see Citrix Licensing Telemetry documentation.

Starting with License Server version 11.17.2.0 build 43000, you can view and configure proxy server settings from the Citrix Licensing Manager UI. For more information, see Configure a proxy server within Citrix Licensing Manager.

Citrix Licensing components requiring outward bound web communications can inherit network proxy settings using Windows automatic proxy detection. We do not support authenticated proxies. For more information about Windows automatic proxy detection, see WinHTTP AutoProxy Functions.

For office visits, you must bring specific forms of proof for identification, Social Security number and residential address. The checklists here list some valid documents. For more document options, visit the What to Bring website.

*CFR 384.212 provides that CDLs or CLPs may only be issued to a person who resides within that state and has his/her true, fixed, and permanent home and principal residence to which he/she has the intention of returning whenever he/she is absent.

Florida is leading the nation in an effort to provide our residents with a more secure identification document.

Beginning Jan. 1, 2010, Floridians renewing or obtaining a new driver license / identification card are required to show proof of 1) identification, 2) Social Security number and 3) two proofs of residential address.

Why have the license and ID Card Requirements changed?
Florida has passed laws that will help better protect our citizens and visitors by strengthening our ability to verify an applicant's identity and legal presence in the United States. The changes will help increase our overall security.

Will my current License/ID card be valid after January 1, 2010?
Yes, if you were born December 1, 1964 or before your license/ID card will be valid until December 1, 2017 or until expiration. If you were born after December 1, 1964 your license/ID will be valid until December 1, 2014 or until expiration.

Can I still get both a Driver's License and an Identification Card?
Sorry, no. You will have to choose which one you would like to have. Your license acts as an identification card, so it is not necessary to have both.

I lost my license/ID card. Will I have to get one of these new licenses/IDs?
Not necessarily. You can request a replacement license at FLHSMV's website. If you do need to come into the office to request a replacement, then you must bring the required documents as described on the What to Bring website. You will be issued the new license.

I only have copies of my documents, not originals. What should I do?
You will need to request original documentation. For example, a replacement social security card is free, while a copy of a Florida birth certificate is $9.00. If you need help determining how to get replacement documents, visit the What to Bring website. If you are unable to get a replacement, you can request an exception. We should know within 48 hours if your request was granted.

My last name is different than my primary identification. What should I do?
We need to see proof of your name change. If your name has changed due to marriage or a court order, you must submit the original or a certified copy of your marriage certificate(s) or court order(s). If your last name has changed multiple times, you must present a document trail that links your current name to your chosen proof of identity. If you are a non-U.S. citizen, your name change must already be reflected in your primary identification.
