Just select a date (or date range) and two stations, and you'll get a personalized timetable showing you all the available travel options, whether it be train, connecting bus or a combination of the two.
These timetables include basic schedules as well as NJ TRANSIT connecting services (e.g., Secaucus, Princeton shuttle) ONLY. For connecting services involving other agencies (e.g., PATH, New York Waterway) and for complete fare and service information, please view the complete timetables HERE or obtain a timetable at any NJ TRANSIT Customer Service Office.
The Registration Timetable provides a schedule of when students can begin registering for classes for a specific semester. The timetable provides a chart with the minimum credits and the corresponding first date to register for each student level (e.g., undergraduate, graduate, law, nondegree). Students can determine their "minimum credits to register" by adding their total credits earned to the number of credits for which they are currently enrolled. Enrollment appointments are set when shopping carts open for a given semester and are not adjusted after that date.
The Office of the University Registrar is committed to making its websites accessible to all users.
Please send comments or suggestions about making accessibility improvements to regi...@psu.edu.
Our timetables are uploaded to online journey planners, including our app, 12 weeks in advance. Any planned amendments such as engineering works are added approximately 8 weeks in advance. Click the journey planner link below to plan your journey.
If you wish to see full timetables, you'll find those further down this page where you can search for your station and routes.
Please click the date you wish to travel then select view timetable to see our train times, please note that our timetables can change from day to day, so it is advisable to look at your specific day of travel.
Before each teaching period begins, you will be given an opportunity to indicate your preferred classes. Please note only subjects with teaching period Semester 1 and 2 have Preference mode. Subjects with Non-standard (e.g. W2948) and Terms (e.g. Term 1) teaching periods will go straight into Allocation Adjustment mode (which is explained in the next point).
Allocate+ is then closed while the system sorts preferences and allocates students to classes that will generate the best possible clash-free timetable. Your preferences will be taken into account where possible.
You can use Allocate+ to access your personalised timetable. Allocate+ will automatically display any subjects to which you have been allocated (flagged with a green icon), and you can also search for other subjects.
The academic timetable lists classes offered in a particular term. You will use it to choose classes, create your schedule and determine where your classes are being held and who is teaching them.
You can view the timetable by both term and subject. For example, if you are planning to take an English class in the Fall term, you would select the Fall term from the top of the page, and then select English from the subject listing menu. This will display all of the English classes being offered in the Fall term.
CMIS Go should be your first point of reference for checking your timetable, however you can subscribe your timetable via Google Calendar and add it as a secondary calendar. For instructions go to the Moodle page
If you have problems with your timetable, or it's incorrect, check with the MyPort Information Hub that you're registered for the correct modules and the correct amount of credits in the Student Records system. The MyPort Hub will work with the central timetabling unit to investigate further.
If you're a current student, the MyPort Hub is your first port of call for any aspect of University life. From questions about your course, to what support services are available to you - contact the MyPort team to find what you need:
It can take approximately 48 hours (excluding weekends) for your timetable to update once you have enrolled onto your modules and been allocated to activities. This may be longer if we are waiting on information from schools or final board decisions for returning students.
Your timetable contains information about when and where the taught sessions for your module are taking place and includes activities such as lectures, seminars, and tutorials as well as lab or studio sessions if you are on a practical programme.
Your timetable is subject to change throughout the year, but we try to keep timetable changes to a minimum. Most changes usually happen in the first few weeks at the start of term so please check your timetable regularly.
When viewing your timetable on StudyNet please make sure you are looking at the correct date as some courses may not start until later in the semester. You can check course start dates in your Student Record.
Once registered and enrolled on your modules you will be allocated to activities and your timetable should be updated within 48 hours. If after this time your timetable is still not showing the modules you are registered on correctly, please contact the Helpdesk on 01707 284678 or help...@herts.ac.uk.
Please note that it will take approximately 48 hours (excluding weekends) from registering and enrolling on your modules to allocation to timetabled activities. Additionally, removal of any timetabled activities for a module you are no longer enrolled on will take place overnight so should disappear from your timetable the next day. If after this time your timetable is still not showing the modules you are registered on correctly, please contact the Helpdesk on 01707 284678 or help...@herts.ac.uk
You can find accurate, up-to-date venue access information about classrooms on campus using the University of Hertfordshire Accessibility Guide on the AccessAble website and the AccessAble app (available on iOS and Android) to help you easily and safely plan your journey around campus and remove the uncertainty of travelling to new places.
Please note, if you are a student who is repeating, transferring or you have optional modules to select, the process may take longer. If you still see the same message, please contact the Ask Herts Hubs.
We do however understand students have varying personal needs. If you have a specific problem with your timetable there may be circumstances in which amendments could be considered. Please be aware that changes between groups will only be possible where there is capacity.
You can link your timetable with your personal calendar on your computer or mobile device. Follow our step-by-step instructions below on how to link your timetable to your personal calendar on your computer or mobile device.
How to subscribe to the timetable change notifications service
The best way to receive notifications is through the Herts Mobile app, available for Apple and Android devices; visit mobile.herts.ac.uk to download and then login with yourus...@herts.ac.uk. Along with personalised notifications, the app has some other great features to help you out such as an interactive map of the campus and PC availability.
Important! The service will only tell you about late changes or cancellations due to take place in the next two working days. Always check your timetable on StudyNet for the most up-to-date information and subscribe to the iCal feed to see your academic timetable alongside other events in your calendar.
Please Note: Subscribed Calendar will be synced to all Android mobile devices logged in with the same Google account. If the time\date seems incorrect check Settings to ensure the correct time zone and date format first.
Please Note: If you get the error message 'An identical Subscribed Calendar account already exists' this is because you have set this up on another device and are using iCloud to sync across devices.
