Hi

I have the websites for mobile/docs/main site ready to go. Is there
anything pending? Are we able to release h5bp v3.0 this monday at 8am
PST?

I’d like to get a final decision on
https://github.com/h5bp/html5-boilerplate/issues/937#issuecomment-3798174
before I commit it. This is a rather small change so it would be good
to include it in v3.0.

My initial solution is closest to what we were doing before, in that
it would match the same file extensions + any filename ending with
`~`.
Divya’s solution matches all filenames that end in a `.`, optionally
followed by some characters, and ending with any file extension in the
list, or `~`. (So it would match .xbak as well.) It’s also 5 bytes
smaller!!111

Go with the option that you think is most robust and least likely to cause unwanted side effects at this stage.

We can either wait for Modernizr to get updated to 2.5 (but then we might be waiting for a while), or just tag 3.0 after Mathias's .htaccess commit so that Jonathan has a set code base to use while updating Initializr. Then Modernizr can just be included in a later 3.0.1 release or something.

Does anyone have any idea how long we’d have to wait? What’s blocking
the Modernizr 2.5 release?

From the details department:

I just added a readme to the ant script this morning. I just pulled the content from the wiki, but it's a start. I think it needs some ASCII art.

There's one for the node script as well.

We just need something for the rake script.

Sorry guys, At my parents finishing up a quick visit.

I just tagged Modernizr v2.5. Working with Alex to get a minified build of it along with the new yepnope. We'll get that committed tonight.

I have done some final update to mobile boilerplate, tagging, h5bp.com/mobile and readme file update.

Depends on the modernizr release, I can either find a bit of time to re-tag tomorrow or it can be in a future mbp release.

We just finalized 2.5 just now. The builder isn't updated yet but H5BP got the new files.  https://gist.github.com/1750042
That's modernizr 2.5, yepnope 1.5 and html5shiv 3.2.. All brand new

I think we can call H5BP v3 is now code-complete.  \o/
