save h2o model to pmml

Hi everyone!

Can i save h2o model to pmml format, so it can be used via SPSS modeler,etc?

There is a pmml package for R, can this package handle with this task?

This is on the roadmap, but not available yet.

What H2O can do today is emit POJO models for making predictions, as described here:
https://github.com/h2oai/h2o-training/tree/master/tutorials/streaming/storm

Hi,
I don't believe PMML output is on the roadmap at this time (we are open
to pull requests).

Have you checked out the model as code / POJO capability? This is the
optimal method for using models in production.

We have 3rd party software that we need to integrate with which would mot allow external calls - we need to be able to encapsulate the model as pmml within that environment.

Nothing is entirely off the table, I just know that there hasn't been a lot of community interest/demand for PMML support, which is why it's not on our near term roadmap.

Implementing this would be a real showSTARTER in finance and related fields.
I just upvoted the respective JIRA issue (https://0xdata.atlassian.net/browse/PUBDEV-2129) and recommend everybody else who reads this to vote for it.

Please share something on converting H2o GBM models into PMML.

PMML is still widely used across industry but could not find anything on H2o & PMML.
